7 GOLDEN RULES OF WRITING A GOOD COVER LETTER

1) Must contain reference to the post being you are applied for.
2) Must contain your skillset that you think are vital for accomplishing the task for the post you are applying for.
3) Must contain your experience and qualification that you think are necessary for the accomplishment of the tasks in the job you are applying for.
4) Must address the questions asked by the employer in his job description.
5) Must show your availability in terms of hours per week.
6) Must contain your bid price
7) Must show in which communication platform you can be reached for chat and interview.
NB: Do not give your contact details to the employer until invited for an interview
Example: I am available for chat on Skype and Gtalk or MSN Messenger. For message, kindly use oDesk Massage Center.
